Perstorp AB continues discussions with Perstorp Intressenter AB

Perstorp AB and Perstorp Intressenter AB are continuing discussions regarding a
possible transaction, but will await an opinion by the Swedish Securities
Council before possibly reaching agreement.

Urban Jansson, Chairman of Perstorp AB, comments:

"We look forward to an opinion by the Swedish Securities Council. A
clarification regarding the conditions for public offers is a positive
contribution. In the meantime, we will evaluate the situation that has arisen
and the various alternatives available to the Group."

In accordance with a decision by the OM Stockholm Exchange, trading in the
Perstorp share will resume from today.
