Pergo is to build distribution center in Trelleborg

As part of efforts to improve its logistics, Pergo has commissioned the
construction of a new distribution center for the European market.  The facility
will include a new 9,000-square-meter warehouse, with 1,100 square meters of
related office space in Trelleborg, Sweden.

The center, which will be completed during February 2001, is being built in
cooperation with ABB Finans (owner), NCC (contractor) and Ostersjoterminalen AB,
as well as the municipality of Trelleborg, Sweden, which will be the lessor of
the facility.

"The warehouse will enable us to combine several storage locations into one and
will also result in improved service to our customers in the Nordic region and
other parts of Europe," says Lars-Goran Ohlsson, Logistic Manager within Pergo.

Pergo has annual sales of slightly more than SEK 3.6 billion, with approximately
900 employees, mainly in Trelleborg and Raleigh in North Carolina, USA.  The
company is a leading producer of laminate flooring and is part of the Perstorp
Group.
