Tree Top Industries, Inc. (OTCBB:TTII) has signed a Letter of Intent with WorldWithoutBlindness, Inc. ("WWB") to develop a plan for global expansion of early vision screening for children and adults, using Visual Evoke Potential (VEP), and other new technologies, many of them developed at academic institutions, including Rockefeller University, which assess the structure of the optic nerve and the retina.

Kathy Griffin, President of Tree Top, stated, "We are partnering with WWB to market new ophthalmic technology internationally, and our business plan will target developing countries, where there is a disproportionately high incidence of blindness.  According to the World Health Organization (the "WHO"), there are over 45 million blind and 135 million vision impaired people across the globe. 70% of those cases could be prevented with early intervention.   Over 500,000 new cases of childhood blindness occur every year, or roughly, one per minute. WWB's plan is to target pediatricians, schools, and government agencies, as well as private organizations to get the screening equipment into the hands of those who can help the most. Every child, even those as young as six months old, can be screened." (Statistics from www.Uniteforsite.org and the WHO)

WWB will work with companies based in the United States, which have developed early vision screening equipment. WWB is planning to place machines in developing countries by the first quarter of 2011. Revenue streams will come from the sale of the screening systems and software, as well as from annual screening tests.

WorldWithoutBlindness, Inc., is devoted to prevention of blindness through screening and early disease detection, patient information, physician education and vision science research.
