--Walmart has chosen a consortium led by brothers Mohsin and
Zuber Issa and London-based private equity firm TDR Capital as
preferred bidders for Asda, Sky News reports.
--There isn't an official deal yet, but unidentified sources
suggest that the deal could value the supermarket chain at 6.5
billion pounds ($8.28 billion).
