DALLAS, March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 12, 2007, Spirit Finance Corp. (NYSE:SFC) entered into a merger agreement with Redford Holdco, LLC, and Redford Merger Co. Under terms of the agreement, all shares of Spirit Finance would be cancelled and converted into the right to receive $14.50 per share in cash. The price per share offered by Redford is 11.62% more than the stock's closing price prior to the deal's announcement, and 1 cent less than the stock's closing trading price on March 13, 2007. If the proposed merger is finalized, Spirit Finance will no longer be a publicly traded company.
