Perini Corporation (NYSE: PCR) is pleased to announce four well deserved promotions within its wholly owned subsidiary, Perini Building Company, Inc. (�PBC�). Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Perini Building Company is the largest builder of hospitality and gaming projects in the country and maintains offices nationwide. Craig W. Shaw becomes Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PBC. Craig joined Perini in 1978 after graduating from Del E. Webb School of Construction Management at Arizona State University and quickly rose through the ranks as Project Engineer, Project Manager, Vice President and Senior Vice President to President of PBC. He has 29 years of construction experience and has led PBC to its top position in hospitality and gaming. He will continue to oversee responsibilities for all aspects of PBC�s business. Richard J. Rizzo becomes Vice Chairman of PBC. Dick is responsible for new business development, market planning and strategies, company growth, project selection and client relationships in the key hospitality and gaming markets throughout the United States. Dick joined the Perini team thirty years ago and was instrumental in steering Perini into the hospitality and gaming industry. He also oversees Perini�s diversity development program. He is a graduate of Lehigh University with degrees in both Business Administration and Civil Engineering. He is also a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Management Program. Mark Caspers becomes President and Chief Operating Officer of PBC responsible for all of PBC�s projects and new work acquisition throughout the United States. Mark has 27 years experience with Perini and his construction expertise and leadership has been a key factor in PBC�s ability to construct complex, fast track projects on time and within budget. Mark has honed his skills in a variety of field positions including General Foreman, Superintendent, General Superintendent, Vice President and Senior Vice President of Field Operations. He has played a significant role in a majority of Perini�s largest projects, including the current construction of MGM MIRAGE CityCenter, the largest privately funded construction project in the country. Other significant projects include Red Rock Casino Resort, Paris Las Vegas, Green Valley Ranch, Palms Casino Resort, Ritz-Carleton Las Vegas, the Colosseum, Palace and Augustus Towers at Caesars Palace, Terminal D at McCarran International Airport, and the Thomas & Mack Sports Arena at UNLV. W. Patrick Hubbs is promoted to Executive Vice President of Field Operations. Pat is responsible for supervising project executives and project managers in their planning and execution of field work on PBC�s most significant projects. His duties include developing strategic project start-up procedures, meeting or exceeding construction cost and production goals, achieving project schedules, guaranteeing quality control, and overseeing safety. Currently Pat is the project executive for all of CityCenter. Pat has been with Perini for 18 years. Recent projects he has managed include Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, Pechanga Resort and Casino Phase II, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, and Palms Casino Resort. Pat graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Construction Management.
