Truist Securities increased its price target on Carnival to $29 from $20 and its target on Norwegian Cruise Line to $35 from $25.

Tyson is closing three more plants. That's seven or eight this year. Thousands of name restaurants have closed this year. Dozens of manufacturing firms have gone bankrupt this year. I look for a growth economy; providing increased discretionary income. The cruisers are charging and making money
from everything; read pricier. Look for fuel costs to go down and net income to rise. Use RCL as a proxy; where it goes; the others will follow. CCL not my favorite; they are a distant 3rd or lower in my book.

Cruised both RCL and NCLH; RCL obviously the better. But I look for NCLH to do well for value conscious travelers.

I forgot one importsnt thing - subtract dilution. Each year nclh dilutes 50% or more. So, subtract another 50% from the share price. This is why the true book price is next to nothing..... probably negative numbers. Annual Earnings Growth Of 30%
Elsewhere, Citi also upgraded Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH) to buy from neutral and lifted its price target to 30 from 20. The firm cited the recent cruise rally which should continue beyond 2025, as well as Norwegian's strategy shift. Norwegian Cruise in May announced its new "Charting the Course" strategy, which includes investment initiatives in the company culture and employees, guest product offerings, Norwegian's growth platform, as well as optimizing performance.

By the end of 2026, Norwegian expects to achieve adjusted earnings of $2.45 per share. That represents a two-year compound annual growth rate of over 30% from 2024 to 2026.

Citi said the strategy shift gives it confidence that the "considerable pricing opportunity will not be offset by runaway costs."

The firm estimates that Norwegian could achieve 23% annual earnings growth over the next three years. That could stretch closer to 30% if the cruise operator can sustain its 2.5% yield/cost spread. Either outcome equates to "big earnings upside and multiple expansion," Citi wrote.

Today's nclh news. nclh bonds have convertible debentures just like those crooked OTC companies. One, I think, maybe more, are excercising their bebenture rights and getting a ton of nclh stock to benefit from when they choose. Look at it this way. If you have nclh shares, you just got screwed. Outstanding share counts increased and the value of the stock declined no matter what the share price is.
