Among the companies with shares expected to actively trade in
Monday's session are J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. (JBHT).
J.B. Hunt Transport Services is scheduled to report its
third-quarter results Monday morning. Analysts polled by Thomson
Reuters expect a 12% rise in revenue and a 20% jump in per-share
earnings.
Watch List:
Vivendi SA (VIV.FR, VIVEF) said Friday it had completed its
divestment of a large portion of its stake in videogame maker
Activision Blizzard Inc. (ATVI). The stake sale netted $8.2 billion
for Vivendi, which will retain 83 million shares, or a 12% stake,
in Activision.
Consol Energy Inc. (CNX), one of the world's oldest coal
companies, is exploring ways to significantly reduce its coal
holdings and focus more on natural gas. Under consideration,
according to people familiar with the matter, is splitting up its
coal and gas assets, and having them traded separately. Consol said
it is still weighing its options for an ongoing corporate
restructuring plans.
