MATERIAL FACT

 

Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional ("CSN" or "Company") informs its shareholders and the market in general, as an update to the material fact disclosed on September 10, 2021, that CSN Cimentos S.A., a private company controlled by CSN and which concentrates the cement manufacturing and marketing operations of the group ("CSN Cimentos"), concluded on this date the acquisition of one hundred percent (100%) of the shares issued by LafargeHolcim (Brasil) S.A. ("LafargeHolcim Brasil"), as provided in the share purchase agreement entered into on September 9, 2021 ("Transaction").

As a result of the conclusion of the Transaction, LafargeHolcim Brasil, renamed as "CSN Cimentos Brasil S.A.", becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of CSN Cimentos.
