BBVA Partners With Nok Nok Labs on Biometric Authentication

Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BBVA.MC) and Nok Nok Labs
have reached an agreement to partner on authentication solutions
for mobile banking.
Under the agreement, Nok Nok Labs will provide BBVA with a
series of tech solutions, which include the implementation of a new
standard for online authentication called Fast Identity Online, or
FIDO, the Spanish bank said Tuesday.
The standard gives users the possibility of replacing a password
with identification systems like fingerprint and facial
recognition.
