Banco Santander SA said Monday that it has appointed Mike Regnier as chief executive officer of its U.K. business.

Mr. Regnier joins the Spanish lender from Yorkshire Building Society, where he has been CEO since 2017. He has held roles at Lloyds Banking Group PLC, TSB and supermarket chain Asda, Santander said.
