      Company announces more than doubling of the money available for stock buybacks.... and the stock drops.

      Reaction to the earnings miss is way too extreme.
      The company reduced LT debt by 40 million, about a third of the total debt. They also wrote off 68 million of goodwill, which is the main reason the loss was so big. And they reduced inventory dramatically, again by about a third, which was why they had such a fall from grace in late 2022 and early 2023. Looking FORWARD, which is the whole point of investing, they are looking good. Doing ALL the right things to be quite profitable in 2024 and beyond.

      ....and there we are-- OVER $6.00 today.

      this was so easy to play by buying extra shares post-split, when the price hovered around $4/share.

      Now we are back to where the stock was pre-split. Let's see what happens with earnings.

      Given all the problems of shrinkage at brick and mortar retailers these days, and with the consumer still spending, AKA with its portfolio of largely online brands looks increasingly attractive. I think we'll see profitability within the next year.

      suspicious trading in AKA today. Somebody dumps at .46, and when I put in a bid at .475, I get ni takers. the stock wants to go up, but somebody, or some group doing whatever they can to keep it down.

      Should be up from here, I am expecting much improved results for Q2, which will be anounced 8/9, aftr hours.

      Several big brokerage houses liked this in Sept-Oct 2021, with price targets as high as $20.00/share, and now it sits under .50 and can't get any love.

      I think this is a comeback play. Still has strong brands, still has good sales. And they took some hits to the balance sheet in 2022 that won't have to be repeated.

      I'm a buyer here.
