Air Products & Chemicals Inc. (APD) on Friday said it is raising North American prices for liquid and bulk industrial gas products by up to 20% in response to escalating sourcing, production and delivery costs.

The Allentown, Pa., industrial gases company said it is raising prices by up to 20% for liquid argon and by up to 15% for liquid and bulk hydrogen.

Prices will rise by up to 10% for liquid nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide.

A similar round of price increases took effect in October.

Air Products said the increases support its continued investments in reliability, security and safety.
