Graphics-chip giant Nvidia Corp. is moving its annual developers' conference to an online-only event in response to the spreading coronavirus.

The event, which drew around 9,000 people last year, will now take place via livestream, the company said Monday. The event was due to take place between March 22 and 26 at the San Jose Convention Center.

Numerous big tech companies have changed plans for conferences because of the coronavirus outbreak, including Facebook Inc., which canceled its annual F8 developers' conference last week. Twitter Inc. Monday said it had imposed travel restrictions on its employees.
