Awards First $20,000 Isle Endowment Fund Scholarship BILOXI, Miss., May 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. awarded its first Isle Endowment College Scholarship this week to Jazmone Wolf of Raytown, Missouri. "Isle of Capri Casinos has long had the philosophy that giving back through various efforts is simply the right thing to do. The Isle Endowment Fund allows us another opportunity to lend a helping hand. We had many strong applicants and applaud them all; however, Jazmone Wolf proved to best meet, if not exceed, all the qualifications to be our first recipient," said Timothy M. Hinkley, president and COO of Isle of Capri Casinos. The Isle Endowment Fund provides a scholarship of up to $20,000 (a maximum of $5,000 per year for a maximum of four years) to be awarded to the recipient's college of choice in his or her name. The fund is maintained through annual financial contributions from the company's casino properties and its employees, and is managed by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation in Biloxi, Miss. The criteria for applying for the scholarship includes: a maintained grade point average of 3.0; an evaluation of general qualifications, academic aptitude and potential success in the hospitality field -- which is described as hotel/motel management, food and beverage/restaurant management and/or casino management; and at least one year of employment history in the hospitality industry, or 12 credit hours completed in the hospitality field or hospitality related field. Wolf, who is a National Honor Society member, attends Raytown High School. She is enrolled in Southwest Missouri State University, where she will study finance this fall. Wolf is currently serves as treasurer of the Future Business Leaders organization at her school and is captain of the varsity basketball team and a member of the track team and the school's orchestra.
