Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. Selected as Recipient for Gaming License in Waterloo, Iowa BILOXI, Miss., May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISLE) officials announced today that the company and its non- profit partner, Black Hawk County Gaming Association, have been selected by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission as the successful applicant for a gaming license in Black Hawk County, Iowa, located in the city of Waterloo. Isle of Capri's project will be located on an undeveloped 40-acre site in Waterloo, Iowa, located adjacent to Lost Island Adventure Park, in close proximity to the intersection of highway 20 and interstate 380. Isle of Capri expects to spend approximately $119 million on the project. The company's single-phase project includes constructing a single-level 35,000 square-foot casino, with 1,300 gaming positions, three of its signature restaurants, a 200-room hotel and 1,000 parking spaces. Subject to the receipt of all final permits and licenses, the company expects the construction of the project to take approximately 20 months.
