Catalyst Health Solutions, Inc., (NASDAQ: CHSI) today announced
that Michigan’s Office of Retirement Services has extended the
pharmacy benefits management contract between the Michigan Public

2013. As a result of this contract extension, almost 200,000
Michigan retirees will continue to receive prescription drug
benefits from one of the country’s top PBMs.
“Maintaining the high quality benefits that our retirees have
come to expect is critically important to MPSERS,” said Philip
Stoddard, Director of the Michigan Office of Retirement Services.
“With their strong local presence and commitment to building
tailored solutions that contain costs without compromising quality,
Catalyst has proven to be a key partner as we serve retirees
throughout the state.”

the top five “Most Admired Companies” in the Health Care: Pharmacy
and Other Services industry and has been included on their “Top 100
Fastest Growing Companies” list on four different occasions. By

and overall cost savings, Catalyst has long-maintained a
year-over-year client retention rate of more than 98%.
“We view each contract as an expression of a client’s confidence
in Catalyst,” said Rick Bates, President and Chief Operating
Officer of Catalyst Health Solutions. “By understanding the
specific needs of our clients and translating those needs into
