S/A (“Company” or “Eletrobras”) (B3: ELET3, ELET5 & ELET6; NYSE: EBR & EBR.B; LATIBEX: XELT.O
& XELT.B) hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that its subsidiary Eletrobras Termonuclear - Eletronuclear
(“Eletronuclear”) will publish tomorrow, February 25, 2021, a notice for hiring a company that will resume the civil
works at the Angra 3 Plant (“Angra 3”) and will perform part of the electromechanical assembly. This initiative is
part of the plan to accelerate the plant's critical path. The objective is to advance some construction activities even before
hiring the contractor who will undertake the global work and complete the construction of the plant.
The expectation is that the hiring will
occur until May. With that, the first concrete - an important milestone in the resumption of Angra 3 works - should be launched
in October. The contracting of the contractor that will continue the work is scheduled for the second half of 2022.
The current global physical progress
of the project is 65% and the plant is scheduled to start operating in November 2026.
The Company will keep the market informed
about the subject of this Announcement.
