With the election, Susan Allen
has joined the Board of Directors of EcoSynthetix and John E. Barker has retired from his board
position.
"We believe it is important to have a balance between directors
who have a long history and organizational understanding of our
business with directors who bring new perspectives and ideas to the
Board of Directors. Our ability to attract someone of Susan's
calibre to join EcoSynthetix and support us through our next phase
of growth speaks to the positive change we can bring to the wood
composites and paper markets. Her experience and credentials were
an ideal fit for our board composition and the vision we share for
the future of EcoSynthetix," said Paul
Lucas, Chair of the Board of EcoSynthetix. "On behalf of
everyone at the Company, I thank John for his long-standing
contribution to EcoSynthetix. The commitment he demonstrated to the
organization and the expertise and experience in finance and
accounting he provided to the board and management were
unquestioned throughout his tenure."
