awarded a project to install and deploy a wireless mesh network for
the city of Covina, California. The metropolitan area network (MAN)
will provide free and open internet access to users in a wide
vicinity of the downtown common area which encompasses City Hall,
the MetroLink Station, Public Library, Post Office and the Police
and Fire departments. Strix Systems will provide the wireless
architecture for the city, whose population exceeds 49,000. Network
