Fusion Oil & Gas plc ("Fusion")


500,000 partly paid shares in Fusion Oil & Gas NL ("FOG") paid up and converted
into ordinary shares in Fusion


Application to the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange
("AIM") for the admission of these additional ordinary shares


The Directors of Fusion have received notice that holders of partly paid
shareholdings in FOG are paying up the balance of AUS$99,500.00 (approximately
#35,154.00) due in respect of 500,000 partly paid shares in FOG. Fusion is now
obliged, as described in the Admission Document dated 22 September 2000, to
acquire the shares and to issue, as consideration, fully paid ordinary shares in
Fusion.


Application has been made to AIM for the listing of the additional ordinary
shares which is expected to occur on 27 September 2002.
