Following the Significant Event distributed by Telefónica on August 28, 2014 Telefónica, S.A. informs that Vivendi, S.A. has agreed to
grant exclusivity to Telefónica, S.A. and Telefónica Brasil, S.A, for negotiating, during a period of three months, the offer submitted by these companies for the acquisition of the company Global Village Telecom S.A. (GVT).
