Explanation of Responses:
( 1)  American DG Energy Inc. ("American DG") declared a special dividend on July 2, 2013 of one share of EuroSite Power Inc. ("EuroSite") common stock for every ten shares of American DG common stock. The special dividend was paid on August 15, 2013 to American DG's stockholders of record as of the close of business on July 25, 2013.
( 2)  This amount consists of: (a) 113,654 shares of common stock directly held by John N. Hatsopoulos and (b) 60,140 shares of common stock held by John N. Hatsopoulos and his wife, Patricia L. Hatsopoulos, as joint tenants with rights of survivorship, each of whom share voting and investment power. John N. Hatsopoulos is the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of American DG and holds approximately 10.7% of American DG's common stock. American DG, after the special dividend, directly beneficially owns 40,115,321 shares of EuroSite common stock. John N. Hatsopoulos disclaims beneficial ownership of the shares held directly by American DG except to the extent of any pecuniary interest he may be deemed to have in such shares.
( 3)  By the John N. Hatsopoulos Qualified Annuity Trust of 2011 for the benefit of John N. Hatsopoulos, for which John N. Hatsopoulos is the trustee.
( 4)  By The John N. Hatsopoulos 2011 Trust for the benefit of John N. Hatsopoulos, for which John N. Hatsopoulos is the trustee.
( 5)  By Pat Limited, a company incorporated in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas controlled by John N. Hatsopoulos.
