Update on Government Contract Awards and Opportunities

Unisync Corp. (TSX: "UNI") (“Unisync") is pleased
to announce that Public Works and Government Services Canada
(“PWGSC”) has recently awarded two additional contracts totaling
approximately $3.5 million to its subsidiary, Peerless Garments LP
(“Peerless”). The contracts involve the production of advanced
search and rescue uniforms and static dissipative rain suits for
the Royal Canadian Navy. The firm portion of these contracts
amounts to $2.0 million with the option portion exercisable over
the next three years.
PWGSC has also issued a formal request for
proposals for a managed program involving the transfer and ongoing
management of all of the existing operational clothing, footwear
and related accessories for the Canadian Department of National
Defense (“DND”) estimated at $1.2 billion over the potential twenty
year term of the contract (the “OCFC2” contract). Each OCFC2 item
will require a certain percentage of Canadian Content following the
Rules of Origin for Apparel, Modified Rules of Origin for Textiles
and NAFTA rules.
Peerless has been the leading prime contractor
for the manufacture and provision of operational clothing and
accessories to the DND for over 40 years. The proven Canadian
production capabilities and technical product knowledge of Peerless
in combination with the state-of-the-art inventory planning and
reporting systems, as well as web-based member ordering and
delivery systems of Unisync Group Limited (“UGL”), establishes
Unisync as a prime contender for this major business opportunity.
The deadline for bid responses is February 28, 2020 with final
award expected by the fall of 2020.

distribution of highly technical protective garments, military
operational clothing, and accessories for a broad spectrum of
Federal, Provincial and Municipal government agencies in
Canada.
