Turkcell to Train Low-Income Women in Turkey

Mobile-phone operator Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS (TCELL.IS)
will train thousands of low-income women in Turkey as part of a new
commitment to promote the economic conditions of women.
By 2021, the telecommunications company will train around 4,000
low-income women and provide new skills to 200 current female
employees, Turkcell said Thursday.
"We recognize the importance of fostering inclusive employment
towards building the digital future of telecom industry," said
Murat Erkan, chief executive at Turkcell.
