Total SE said Tuesday that its wholly-owned subsidiary Saft
Groupe SA opened a manufacturing hub for energy-storage solutions
in Zhuhai, China.
The plant will have a manufacturing capacity of around 200
containers a year, which equates to 480 megawatt hours, according
to the French energy company.
Total said the hub will allow Saft to serve its customers with
an integrated approach to energy storage--from initial concept and
sizing to system engineering, delivery and grid connection.
