State Street Named to Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens List For Fifth Consecutive Year

announced that it has been named to Corporate Responsibility (CR)
magazine’s list of the “100 Best Corporate Citizens” for the fifth
consecutive year. State Street, one of three financial companies to
be named in the annual list, is ranked No. 65, up from No. 91 in
2010. State Street was selected by CR Magazine for its strong
corporate governance practices and ongoing commitment to
maintaining the company’s reputation for quality, integrity and
high ethical standards. State Street was also recognized for its
continued efforts to reduce its impact on the environment through
the company’s environmental management system, which includes
established goals for increasing recycled paper initiatives,
reducing fossil fuels burned and greenhouse gas emissions.
