State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), the investment management arm of State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT) and the largest institutional fund manager in the world, announced today that its affiliate Sectoral Asset Management won 12 Lipper mutual fund awards for a biotechnology equity fund that it sub-advises. Sectoral received the awards in several European markets for top three- and five-year performance. The markets include all-Europe, Switzerland, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria and Spain. Sectoral sub-advised the winning fund under a long-only biotechnology stock mandate. In total, Sectoral received four awards for best performance over three years and eight awards for best performance over five years.
