New Jersey Resources (NYSE:NJR) today announced the appointment of Stan Kosierowski as vice president of clean energy ventures. Mr. Kosierowski will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities focused on clean and renewable energy technologies. He comes to NJR after serving as Chief Operating Officer at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) since 2004. �As we continue to identify ways to support our state�s clean energy goals, Stan�s efforts will be important not only to the growth of our company, but also the clean energy industry,� said Laurence M. Prior to the EDA, Mr. Kosierowski worked for nearly 30 years at Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) in Newark, NJ. He held various positions of increasing responsibility in his career with the company, ultimately serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of PSEG Energy Technologies. Mr. Kosierowski holds a bachelor�s degree in mechanical engineering from the Newark College of Engineering. Additionally, he completed the Executive Development Program at The Pennsylvania State University, as well as the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School. He has served on the Board of Trustees of Kessler Rehabilitation Institute, the Independent College Fund of New Jersey, the New Jersey Institute of Technology Alumni Foundation and as President for the Plainfield Country Club�s Board of Trustees. He currently resides in Edison.
