McDonald's Corp. (MCD) said it has elected former Deloitte & Touche LLP Chief Executive Catherine Engelbert to its board of directors, effective Dec. 6.

Ms. Engelbert is the commissioner for the Women's National Basketball Association and was Deloitte LLP chief executive from 2015 to 2019.

Ms. Engelbert, 55, also serves on the board of directors of the global nonprofit Catalyst and as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
