Oakwood Center Returns to West Bank of New Orleans

Oakwood Center, the West Bank�s premier shopping, dining and
entertainment destination for New Orleans area shoppers, today
announced its grand re-opening is set for Friday, Oct. 19.
Dillard�s, Sears (both currently open) and JCPenney anchor the
947,000-square-foot, 68-acre retail, dining and entertainment
destination The enclosed shopping center will be the only three
anchor department store in the market. In addition, the center�s
plans include: 360,000 square feet of specialty shops (regional and
national retailers); a 20,000-square-foot food pavilion; and future
plans include three sit-down restaurants. �Re-opening Oakwood
Center is an important milestone in the post-Katrina rebirth of New
