Cynthia K. Brabander Appointed Eaton Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN)
announced that Cynthia K. Brabander has been named executive vice
president and chief human resources officer effective March 1,
2012. Brabander has more than 25 years of experience in the U.S.
and in Europe, previously holding senior HR leadership roles with
the Gates Corporation, Eaton, Emerson Electric, Sara Lee
Corporation and Monsanto Company. She succeeds James W. McGill, who
has been named president, Asia Pacific for the Electrical Sector
effective April 1, 2012.

Brabander holds a Master of Science degree in industrial and
labor relations from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of
Science degree in psychology and sociology from South Dakota State
University.
