Wright Becomes President of Valves & Measurement HOUSTON, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cameron's (NYSE:CAM) board of directors has elected Jack B. Moore as president and chief operating officer of the Company, effective January 1, 2007. Moore currently serves as president of Cameron's Drilling & Production Systems (DPS) group, and is a senior vice president of Cameron. Sheldon R. Erikson, currently chairman, president and chief executive officer, will continue to serve as chairman and CEO of the Company. Also, the board has named John D. Carne, president of the Valves & Measurement (V&M) group, to replace Moore as president of the DPS organization, and James E. Wright, currently president of the Distributed & Process Valves division within V&M, to replace Carne as president of the V&M group. In addition, Wright has been elected as a vice president of Cameron. Their appointments are also effective January 1, 2007. "Each of these gentlemen brings a combination of talents and experience that make them well-suited for their expanded roles," Erikson said. Erikson also said he will continue to be hands-on in his day-to-day role as CEO of the Company. Moore was named president of the DPS organization (formerly the Cameron division) in July 2002. He joined Cameron in July 1999 as vice president and general manager, Western Hemisphere, after 23 years with Baker Hughes Incorporated, where he held a variety of marketing, manufacturing and human resources positions. He holds a BBA degree in finance and marketing from the University of Houston. Carne has been president of the V&M group since April 2002, and has overseen its growth from less than $300 million in revenues to more than $1 billion in 2006. He joined the Company in 1971, and has held a variety of management positions across all of Cameron's operations, including assignments as plant manager for the DPS group's Leeds, England facility and as operations director for DPS's Eastern Hemisphere. He will also continue to be a senior vice president of Cameron. Wright has been with the Company since 1979 and was named president of the Distributed & Process Valves division within V&M in 2005. He previously served as vice president and general manager of the Distributed Products group, and has extensive domestic and international experience with various divisions within the Company.
