CA Technologies Positioned in Leaders Quadrant of Gartner Magic Quadrant for User Authentication

CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) today announced that it has again been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for User Authentication*. CA AuthMinder™ and CA RiskMinder™, the company’s on-premise strong authentication solutions, and CA CloudMinder™ Advanced Authentication, the authentication-as-a-service component of CA CloudMinder, were evaluated for this report.

In the report Gartner predicts that, "by 2017, more than 50 percent of enterprises will choose cloud-based services as the delivery option for new or refreshed user authentication implementations — up from less than 10 percent today. However, it is likely that on-premises solutions will persist in the longer term, especially in more risk-averse enterprises that want to retain full control of identity administration, credentialing and verification.”
