Explanation of Responses:
(1)	Represents performance-based restricted share units ("PRSUs") granted on January 25, 2019 to the Reporting Person under the Issuer's 2014 Share Incentive Plan, as amended and restated, which vested on January 31, 2020. Each PRSU represents the contingent right to receive one Ordinary Share.
(2)	Shares held by Forbion Management. The Reporting Person is a member of Forbion's investment committee, which exercises voting and investment power over such shares. None of the members of the investment committee have individual voting and investment power with respect to such shares, and the Reporting Person disclaims beneficial ownership of such shares except to the extent of his proportionate pecuniary interest therein. The Reporting Person is also a partner of Forbion Capital Partners, which acts as the investment advisor to the directors of ForUniQure B.V. and Forbion 1 Management B.V. (the director of ForUniQure B.V.) with respect to Ordinary Shares held by ForUniQure B.V. The Reporting Person disclaims beneficial ownership of such Ordinary Shares, except to the extent of his proportionate pecuniary interest therein.
