Dana Abraham to Lead Investment and Wealth Management Services at UMB

UMB Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: UMBF) is pleased to announce
that Dana Abraham has been promoted to executive vice president for
investment and wealth management and private banking. Abraham will
oversee UMB�s team of wealth advisors who deliver financial
planning, trust and fiduciary products, and investment services. In
addition, she will continue to expand private banking products and
services to all UMB markets. Abraham was hired as a senior vice
president for private banking in October 2005. In August 2006, UMB
merged private banking services within the company�s Asset
Management division, creating a unified customer experience for
UMB�s high net worth clients in need of asset management, credit
and deposit products and services. �Dana has made a tremendous
impact in the private banking area of our business since joining

private banking experience. Before joining UMB, she spent 16 years
at Bank of America, formerly serving as senior vice president of
premier banking and investments. Abraham is an active volunteer in
the Kansas City community. She is currently a member of the Blue
Valley Educational Foundation Board of Directors, Blue Valley BEST
Committee and the Central Exchange. She holds a degree in Business
Administration from the University of Louisiana-Monroe. UMB
