Dennis Triplett, president of UMB Healthcare Services, a division of UMB Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: UMBF), will speak at America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Institute 2006 Conference in San Diego June 7-9. Institute 2006, AHIP's annual meeting, is known as the nation's leading healthcare conference. A variety of business and healthcare leaders will address pressing issues facing the industry, including the trend of consumer-directed healthcare and initiatives to prevent and manage disease. Triplett, a charter member of the HSA Council, will address the evolution of consumer healthcare and transforming the nation's perspective on health. The topic of Triplett's speech is "Innovative Strategies for Educating Employees About Consumer-Choice Products." Triplett will discuss how companies are implementing enhanced benefit options and the communication strategies that employers are using to support employees who select consumer-choice products including health savings accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA). Triplett will be presenting with E. Jay Coldwell of Fiserv Health, Wausau Benefits. Triplett has over 27 years of banking experience and has directed the development of UMB's financial services to the healthcare industry.
