Northwest Pipe Company Saginaw Facility Damaged by Accidental Fire

Northwest Pipe Company (Nasdaq: NWPX), an industry leader of
engineered welded steel pipe products for the water transmission
market, announced that on Sunday morning, April 21, there was
an accidental fire at its Saginaw, Texas facility which resulted in
damage to the coatings building.
“Thankfully, there were no injuries, but the
ability to coat at our Saginaw facility will be impaired while we
assess and repair the damage,” said Scott Montross, President and
CEO of the Company. “Fortunately, we have multiple production
locations that can be deployed to absorb whatever lost production
we have at our Saginaw facility.”
The Company has insurance coverage in place
covering among other things, property damage and business
interruption, up to certain specified amounts, and has notified its
insurers of the incident.
