Mexico Central Bank Asks Uber, Others to Join Mobile Payment System -Reuters

--Mexico's central bank has been reaching out to companies,
including Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN), Argentine e-commerce company
MercadoLibre Inc. (MELI) and Uber Technologies, Inc., to include
them in a new mobile payment system, Reuters reported Friday.
--The new payment system, CoDi, will allow users to make
payments with their smartphones, the report said.
--Central bank governor Alejandro Diaz de Leon said the bank was
working to get more companies involved with the payment system, the
report said.
