CLEVELAND, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:LECO) today announced the election of three new officers of The Lincoln Electric Company, its major domestic subsidiary. The new officers are Gabriel Bruno, Vice President, Corporate Controller; Michele Kuhrt, Vice President, Corporate Tax; and David Nangle, Vice President and Group President of Brazing, Cutting and Retail Subsidiaries. Mr. Bruno began his career at Lincoln Electric in 1995 as Financial Reporting Manager. He was named North American Controller in 1997, and in 2003 he was appointed Director, Finance and Information Technology. Mr. Bruno became Corporate Controller and Director of Information Technology in 2004. Before joining Lincoln, Mr. Bruno was a manager in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He received his accounting degree from John Carroll University. Ms. Kuhrt joined Lincoln in 1997 as Director of Taxes and was responsible for global tax planning and compliance. In 2004, she was named Director of Taxes and Financial Administration. Prior to joining Lincoln, Ms. Kuhrt was Group Director of Tax for Elsag Bailey Process Automation NV (a unit of ABB), and before that she was an international tax manager in the tax practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds an accounting degree and a Masters degree in Accountancy from Case Western Reserve University. Mr. Nangle began his Lincoln career in 1979, working in the Company's Cleveland manufacturing plant. He later joined Lincoln's Sales Training Program in 1981 and held several sales and sales management positions of increasing responsibility within the Company's U.S. sales organization, including District Sales Manager in Denver and San Francisco and Distributor Sales Manager in 1995. In 1999, he was appointed President of Harris Calorific, Inc., and in 2003 he was named President of Welding, Cutting, Tools and Accessories (WCTA), Inc., Lincoln's retail subsidiary. In May 2005, his responsibilities expanded when he was appointed President of J.W. Harris Co., Inc., which Lincoln acquired in April 2005. Mr. Nangle earned a degree in business administration from Roanoke College and an MBA from California State University, Fresno.
