Item 8.01 Other Events.

On September 21, 2021, Hancock Jaffe Laboratories, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company (i) will be changing its name to enVVeno Medical Corporation and ticker symbols to NASDAQ: NVNO and NVNOW, effective October 1, 2021, (ii) has updated its development strategy to focus on venous disease and advancement of the VenoValve® and (iii) has initiated development of a second product for the treatment of venous disease; expected to be unveiled in mid-2022. A copy of the press release issued by the Company is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
