Digirad's Cardius X-ACT(TM), a dedicated cardiac SPECT system, is expected to set a new clinical standard with X-ACT attenuation correction. The system uses the Cardius-3 XPO camera's solid state detectors with an x-ray tube. The revolutionary X-ACT approach exploits the high-count rate capabilities of solid-state detectors and takes advantage of the full 24-inch-wide triple-head detector geometry to eliminate truncation.
