Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:CY) will announce its
plans for an unprecedented corporate donation to the Second Harvest
Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties: one of the
buildings at its North San Jose campus. The announcement will be
made at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 17, at Cypress.
The event will be followed by Cypress’s annual Food and Fund
campaign finale event benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank. This
year’s “film festival” event will feature several short,
employee-made films, along with unique physical challenges between
company VPs. Cypress has been the largest per-capita corporate
donor to the Second Harvest Food Bank for 19 consecutive years.
