announced that Mary McLaughlin has
been appointed Senior Vice President of the company's Beltway
Region, which includes Maryland,
Virginia, Washington, D.C. and parts of Delaware, North
Carolina and West Virginia. In this role, McLaughlin
is the senior executive responsible for operations, network
development, financial performance and the overall customer
experience for more than two million customers and 5,000 employees
in the Beltway Region.

McLaughlin joins Comcast's Beltway Region after serving the last
five years as Senior Vice President of Comcast's Western New
England Region, where she was pivotal in introducing cutting-edge
technologies to customers, and led her team to be recognized with
one of Comcast's highest internal honors as "Region of the
Year." McLaughlin was also a widely respected, active leader
in the community having served a two-year term as co-chair of The
Governor's Prevention Partnership (GPP), a nonprofit organization
dedicated to keeping Connecticut
youth safe, successful and drug free, as well as on the Board of
Directors for Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) and the Vermont
Business Roundtable.

Prior to transitioning to the cable industry more than 20 years
ago, McLaughlin served as Massachusetts Assistant Attorney General
specializing in consumer protection. She went on to hold numerous
public affairs, public policy and operational leadership positions
in telecom companies throughout the Northeast before joining
Comcast in 2006 as Area Vice President for New Hampshire and then Area Vice President for
the Greater Boston South operating area.

Throughout her career, McLaughlin has received numerous

McLaughlin graduated from Bridgewater State
College and Suffolk University
Law School. She and her husband have two children, and recently
