Ryanair Holdings PLC (RYA.LN) said Tuesday that it may have to undertake further pilot and cabin crew job losses after Boeing Co. (BA) said that delivery of its 737 MAX aircraft has been moved back to June or July.

The budget airline said it now expects delivery of Boeing's troubled model in September or October at the earliest. The company added that it had expected to have 10 aircraft from June, and that it will now urgently revisit its summer 2020 schedule.

"Sadly, this means we cannot rule out further base cuts and closures," Chief Executive Officer Eddie Wilson said.

Shares at 1530 GMT were up 1.1% at EUR14.86.
