Intel Corp. (INTC) on Tuesday said it named Sandra Rivera
executive vice president and chief people officer, leading the chip
maker's human-resources organization.
Intel said Ms. Rivera, who was previously responsible for the
company's network platforms group, replaces Matt Smith, who is
retiring after more than 20 years at the company, most recently
serving as chief human resources officer.
With Ms. Rivera's move, Intel said it will combine its network
infrastructure organization with its programmable solutions
organization under the leadership of Dan McNamara.
