Dow Jones News
--Intel Corp. (INTC) said Friday it doesn't expect its 5G modem
chips to appear in commercially available phones until 2020,
Reuters reported Friday.
--The company will ship sample chips to its customers, and
non-customer 5G products, including network equipment, will be
available later this year, the report said.
--Intel's announcement has implications for their biggest
customer, Apple Inc. (AAPL), as it may delay that company
introducing a 5G phone, the report said.
