Three Geographic Regions Bolstered
Northern Trust Wealth Management announced today the addition of
three new team members to the Foundation & Institutional
Advisors (FIA) practice. The additions of Cord Dannen, CFA, in
Washington, DC; Ryan McCauley in Houston, TX and Patrick Nolan in
Tampa, Fla. demonstrate the firm’s continued commitment to
nonprofit and institutional clients.
FIA is a dedicated practice within Northern Trust that serves
nonprofit organizations through sophisticated investment management
solutions, strategic insights and world-class resources. “To

Cord Dannen is a Senior Institutional Investment Advisor
in the Mid-Atlantic region and will work closely with the staff,
investment committees and boards of nonprofits to develop,
implement and monitor customized investment programs that support
their missions and long- term investment goals. Prior to joining
FIA, Dannen was an Investment Director at Cambridge Associates in
Arlington, Virginia where he worked on a small team that functioned
as an outsourced investment office for institutional clients. His
client base included foundations and endowments, museums, colleges,
universities, private pensions and single family offices. Dannen
earned both his Master of Science in Accounting and MBA with a
focus in Finance and Real Estate from the Kogod School of Business
at American University. He received his Bachelor of Business
Administration degree, with a focus in Management Consulting and
Marketing, from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Dannen is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society in
Washington, DC. He serves on Emory University’s Oxford College
Board of Counselors.
Ryan McCauley is a Regional Director in the Houston, TX
market, where he works with a variety of organizations to implement
customized investment solutions. He consults directly with boards
and professional staff to implement consulting, asset management,
custody, and planned giving services that align with their mission
and values. Prior to his current position, McCauley was a Vice
President and Relationship Manager for higher education, healthcare
and not-for-profit clients of J.P. Morgan in Texas and Alabama. He
also served J.P. Morgan endowments and foundations clients on a
variety of needs, including investment policy, board governance and
investment management products and services. McCauley received his
Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Saint Louis
University. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Houston
Community College Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Houston. He is a member of the Quality of Place Advisory Committee
at the Greater Houston Partnership and The Anti-Human Trafficking
Working Group at the Greater Houston Community Foundation.
Patrick M. Nolan is a Senior Institutional Investment
Advisor based in Tampa, Florida. He will work closely with the
staff, investment committees and boards to develop, implement and
monitor customized investment programs that support their mission
and long-term investment goals. Nolan joined Northern Trust in 2014
as a Portfolio Manager in Asset Management for the Northern Large
Cap Growth and Value Portfolios. He was responsible for managing
over $2 billion for individuals, retirement plans and charitable
foundations. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Nolan worked for PENN
Capital Management as a Portfolio Manager based in Philadelphia,
Pa. Prior to that, he was a Product Analyst with Raymond James. He
earned his MBA from the University of Miami and his Bachelor of
Science degree in Finance from Robert Morris University in
Pittsburgh, Pa. He is a Chartered Market Technician (CMT), a Level
III Candidate in the CFA Program, and in the process of earning a
second Master’s Degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic
University.
