The limited edition capsule collection launches
in stores and online tomorrow
New York & Company (NYSE: NWY) will launch its exclusive
Gabrielle Union Collection on August 16th. Gabrielle Union designed
the collection to reflect her own signature eclectic closet,
bringing a fresh perspective on fashion for New York & Company.
The Gabrielle Union Collection will take a new approach in both
delivery and aesthetic, launching several “capsule” collections
throughout the year offering unique, exclusive pieces that reflect
Gabrielle’s style. Statement-making coats, bodysuits, great fitting
pants, and dresses for every occasion are included in the
assortment.

“I wanted to create styles that reflect my own personality.
There are some days when I want to rock joggers and other days when
I prefer a dress with a pop of color. The collection is a mix of
high fashion, street-savvy and signature statement pieces,” the
actress says of her new fashion line. “I wanted to take a new
approach to fashion that is less about a traditional collection,
and more about modern pieces that reflect my current wardrobe.”
Gabrielle Union is a major part of New York & Company’s
strategy. Further expanding their investment and focus on trending
now designs, her collection will add a modern, cool fashion
aesthetic to the Company’s current selection. The constant flow of
newness will keep the assortment fresh, relevant and exciting to
shoppers.
Gabrielle is highly-engaged with her fan base through her broad
social network and customers are looking forward to getting style
tips and fashion advice directly from her. Her first capsule
collection consists of 21 skus that are all available in sizes
0-20. All pieces are priced under $100, with the exception of
outerwear. Additional capsules will be added throughout the fall
season.
