AXA, a leader in providing financial security and retirement
products, announced today that it received first place in Plan
Sponsor Council of America’s (PSCA) 2017 Signature Awards in the
category of Provider Campaigns for its 403(b) Learning Lab program.
There were 12 categories recognized by PSCA at its National
Conference earlier this month.
PSCA is a leading association for sponsors of voluntary,
employer-based retirement plans in the United States and its annual
Signature Awards recognizes excellence in retirement plan
communication and investment education. The category of Provider
Campaigns highlights service providers’ communications to their
clients.
“Award-winning campaigns are those that engage employees and
drive action,” said Tony Verheyen, PSCA Executive Director. “The
winners are examples of what can work when the company values its
retirement plan and its employees by striving to make the plan a
best-in-class benefit for participants. This year’s winners are
setting the industry standard for outcome-driven communication and
education to help participants achieve financial well-being and a
secure retirement.”
AXA’s 403(b) Learning Lab Program, www.axa.com/teachers, was
designed in collaboration with K-12 educators by initiating
research and conducting focus groups to understand how best to
explain the features of a 403(b) and how those educators can begin
regular retirement savings. This go-to retirement resource is
characterized by a colorful, app-like feel, and it employs a unique
design and “snackable” informative content that is quickly and
easily digested in small doses to accommodate educators’ busy
lives.
“We are honored to be recognized by PSCA,” said Kevin Molloy,
head of AXA’s Retirement Plan Services. “As a leading provider of
403(b)s to K-12 educators, we and our nationwide force of
approximately 1,000 dedicated AXA Advisors financial professionals
feel a responsibility to help provide educators with the resources
to prepare for a comfortable retirement by supplementing their
districts’ pension plan.”
Using clear, jargon-free language, the 403(b) Learning Lab
details how a 403(b) plan can enhance a pension. It helps by
providing defined, actionable steps to break down barriers that
inhibit educators from enrolling in a savings plan.
